I wish I had a great story, but I really don't. It is quite simple actually; one day a friend of mine said I should make clothing so I did.
I wish I could say I started because I could not find any cute clothes for my kids, but surely that is not a problem. I wish I could say I am a "designer", but I pretty much just consider myself a girl who can't stop her brain from spinning.
The one thing I do not have to wish for is a great family and group of friends. These guys are what makes Matilda Jane rock. They are loyal and well-loved. They are also very patient for putting up with me and the ventures I pursue, sometimes on a whim. Oh, I do love them all.
So what does one do with a UPS truck that looks awfully empty??
Pack a few boxes….
And fill it to the rim….and today they sent 2 trucks. We’ve already warned them Monday would be a replay.

My UPS guy is also a friend who delivered to my school for years. He asked me last week what MJC was. I told him his little daughter needed a few of these cute things. He told his wife, that night, now she’s hooked, and I’m in trouble, with the UPS guy. Oh my! Well, he asked:)
WOW! I was already feeling badly for placing two different orders in one day and not just combining the two, and now I feel even worse! It almost makes me not want to order anyhting else and make you have to pack one more box! I’m sure my addiction will kick in and override the guilt though. 😉

Okay so I received the last of my four orders yesterday. Everything has been fab! I was feeling sad that I will not be seeing the UPS guy for a while so I placed three more orders since the package arrived yesterday. After seeing the Ginger hooded dress I immediately had to place an order for bottoms to match. Then some of the replens came up…what’s an addict to do???
I am so excited about getting my package in the mail I can hardly control myself.
