You & Me Women’s LookBook

 

The LookBook this week takes a peek at the You & Me line for Women. We all know how much fun it is to meet up with friends at a Trunk Show and “Oooo & Ahhh” over all the cute clothes for our little ladies… I mean, anything that small is going to be mind-blowingly adorable, right? But let’s take a sec to remember our own wardrobe. Chilly weather will be on its way before we know it and Matilda Jane has all the snugly knits, silky long-sleeves and warm cardigans you’ll need to keep you warm all season. And of course MJC never forgets style when we design for comfort; you’ll find sophisticated cuts, unexpectedly fantastic color palettes and  flattering silhouettes.

I ADORE the momma items! My first momma purchases were in June during the sale, and I am hooked. Every detail, every surprise! The clothes are so comfortable and they make me FEEL good. When I get dressed each morning, I try to at least work one piece into my day’s outfit. I have already accumulated quite a collection of past lines. I wear my Finn pants so much my husband calls them my “favorite pants” and said last night, “why dont you get another pair of them?”. (I got to tell him that I may or may not have them coming in green.) Can’t wait for my new pieces from You & Me!

seriously, the womens collection left me in awe this time around. the only problem is that i want nearly every. single. item. what i wouldn’t do for a mjc frequent buyer program-kinda like for every $500 spent, a slight discount on something…i know it sounds like a lot of work, but i keep hoping some incentive program will roll-out. i buy alllllll throughout each season (just ask natalie, my tk). and there are only so many shows friends will attend and purchase, unless, of course, they’re total addicts like myself. and here are some wishes: boys! need clothes for my lad in the worst way! and wouldn’t a cute momma ball cap be precious with the roadie track pants and jacket. seriously, have worn and worn that suit last year and plan to again this year…so how about unveiling a new set for us ladies? and, lastly, still on the hunt for navy ruffles (mediums!) to compliment my gorgeous beatrice willow that i hope to have very shortly! thanks for your consideration! oh, btw, how about an update on the habitat for humanity project. our kids were delighted to put in their coins for someone to have a house. for someone to have a closet…. xo

I love the adult line. Then again I love the children’s line. I just love all things MJC! I can’t wait to get my boxes filled with wonderful MJC goodies!

I am so excited to go to a MJ trunk show tomorrow night! It’s my first one. I’ve ordered things for my daughter, but seeing this stuff, it’s gorgeous! I’m loving the Oh Liza dress, can’t wait!!!
