Fancy & Free

What do you guys think of our social media efforts lately? Too much? Too little? We were thinking last week how much we love finding new ways to reach out to you, so I hope you guys are noticing and loving it too.

With that in mind, I’d like to introduce you to a new journal entry you’ll be receiving each week from the desk of Lauren and myself called “Fancy & Free.” The first entry goes out today, so if you haven’t signed up for our MJC newsletter yet, today would be a great time to do so!! I mean, only if you wanna read what 2 MJC chicks have to say about Matilda Jane, cats, accessories, photography, food, and much more!

I’m seriously sooooooo excited about this. What do you think? I really do wanna know. I want to make sure we are writing something you enjoy reading each week!

LOVE,

SAM

Love the social media interaction, but the tweets are getting a little too much. 9+ in one day is a lot!

I love all of the Facebook posts and the blog. I’m going to have to get set up with Twitter so I can follow you there too. I say the more Matilda Jane the better! I always get excited when I see a new post from you. I can’t afford to buy MJ right now so I live vicariously through MJ Facebook page and website :) I would love to hear more about all of the good deeds that you do too. It really inspires me to be a better person The one thing I think you could do to improve your social media is by responding more to people who ask questions in the comments section on Facebook. I find there are a lot of people who don’t know how to order or find a Trunk Keeper so they ask as a comment to a Facebook post instead of sending an email.
Keep up the awesome posts:)

Your efforts to reach out are fun. But, I would rather see MJ focus on improving design, shipping times, and customer service. Let’s just say it has been a rough fall season for MJ customers.

Love it all … And the experts say you can’t Tweet or FB too much … Marketing is marketing is marketing! And if you love doing it … Win/Win!!!

I think using social media is great, and it’s wonderful to see your cheery faces and read about things you are passionate about–like kittens, buttons, and Starbucks coffee. But sometimes I’ve see it work against you, too. Be careful what you post on FB and other sites. Also, be fair with the public contests. Don’t just let the favorites and/or those you know or go to Art Fair win. All your fans want the opportunity to be a part of something special–that something special is MJC. I’ve been following you for years, you’ll always have my heart because of your beautiful clothes.

What I would prefer is for the time to be spent by MJC working out sizing and quality issues.

I want cute, well-made clothes that fit. Not cat emails.

I adore it! I love getting to know the sweet ladies behind the scenes at MJ! The more the better!

I’ve been signed up for the newsletter for years. Did it get sent out yesterday? I didn’t get it. Also,if you are going to use social media, you also have to be social and respond to posts, questions, etc. I see a lot of input and questions go unrecognized.
