New Adventures

One more hour and Sam and I are off to China. I remember the first time I went I was so nervous, excited and just plain ole’ overwhelmed.  Now it’s like going to Chicago! And that kinda makes me sad. It is such a beautiful place, I hate that my eyes have gotten used to  it’s beauty. So this time I am vowing to bring my cameras (no matter how heavy they are) and seek out new beauties.  Seriously, I am going to China. This is huge. I never ever even had the thought in my head I would go to some place so far away. I can’t take it for granted! So here’s to seeking new adventures in the same old landscape.

I’ll try to blog, no promises. It seems we will be traveling a TON.  And no Facebook, but I am sure the girls at 435 and 433 have it covered. But man, I am gonna miss seeing all your little ones. And, I am going to miss my boys!

Speaking of traveling, okay kinda different, but Matilda Jane is likely moving. Crazy. So scares me. I mean, leaving my garage to go to Fairfield Manor was nerve wrecking (or is it nerve racking?), and then Fairfield Manor to 435 was a huge move. We thought we’d never fill that building up. Man, we just keep growing up. Now we are moving to an actual warehouse. Like the real deal. It is about 15 minutes from where we work now. No worries, 435 Art Fair is still at the same location as it always has been. The office and warehouse of Matilda Jane are growing up and becoming more of an adult, so we need a real building with loading docks and office. Man, I hate saying that stuff. It freaks me out. But I guess at the end of the day Matilda Jane will work better and run more efficiently in a building that is meant for shipping/controlling inventory. Ahhhh..gotta breathe. I am getting all flustered at the thought. But I am excited to shop for paint colors and wallpaper!!
