I will have to say, posting at night has really become my new thing. This makes two weeks in row and the pressure is way less. Not to mention, I have an unlimited supply of pics if I run out of things to say.
For instance, check this out. This pic was taken 5 months after I started working for Matilda Jane. This February will mark 5 years. I can’t even take how cute Romeo looks in this photo, and how things don’t change. He is still a mama’s boy.
This is Romeo (My Handsome Boy) now…

I love flipping through old pics. Reminds us of who we are and where we’ve been, and even then ones we have had the pleasure (a few we would like to forget) of meeting along the way.
Speaking of meeting, I know you have heard me speak about Martha from the DAR project. She is someone I feel like I have known forever yet we have never met. She has such a zest for life and her personality via email radiates. Her emails literally make me laugh out loud. She sent me over pictures last week and I couldn’t wait to share it.
In the picture are some women from Costa Rica who will be learning basic business skills in order to run a consignment shop. To learn more about what the DAR project and these women are up to, go to her website.

These are the kind of pictures you cherish forever. You remember where you were and exactly how you felt the first time you saw it, and even 10 years later when it comes back to light, you still get that same feeling.
Thank you Martha for allowing Matilda Jane to be apart of your dream and improving these women’s life.
Anyway, I told myself I wasn’t going to get mooshy this post, so lets keep it moving. I am not sure why it always happens, I swear I am not that emotional in person.
I wanted to post one more “OLD school pic” in honor of an amazing dinner we had tonight. The design and development team including Amy (new gal to the team and we are SOOOOO excited and lucky to have her) Yama, Lauren, Sam, Carla and myself met for Sushi. We talked about everything but work. It was like a bunch of old friends gathering together to catch up, LOVE that. I can’t talk about the details but lets say we all feel super comfortable around each other now. LOL (Can I type LOL on a blog or is that just via text and facebook)

Becky (AKA Beckers) is totally going to kill me for this!!! Sorry!!
This was Yama’s “going away party” almost exactly 4 years ago. She is the second one from the right. It feels like this was just yesterday.
I can’t wait to see what we will be looking back on 4 years from now.. I know there are great things in store for Matilda Jane.
Goodnight and don’t let the bed bugs bite…
XOXO
Kayla
