They aren’t always so scary, right? And more often than not they’re for the best, right?
I DO think that’s right. We are so lucky at Matilda Jane to have each other when things feel like they’re moving a little too fast.
Do you know how great it feels to have someone to hug around every corner if needed? I’m such a sentimental gal, but seriously a hug can make me feel not so...alone. I got a hug from Lynette today and I feel even luckier because of it!
Big things are happening around here, but we are ALL in it together. Even you guys!!

I am such a hugger.. I hug everybody.. I think it is a GREAT thing to do. I have a friend who say’s i’m huggy and if that’s how I’m remembered I’m ok with it. I especially like to hug my friends that aren’t so huggy to show them what they are missing..lol

HUGS, Oh they are great, I’ve learned to Hug alot more in the last 8 years. I guess for me it was being told that my son may not live that changed things, having to tell people that my son was born with a Rare Brain Malformation and if he did live he would never beable to do alot of things kids his age do, People hug you after you tell them that. It couldn’t fix him but made me know that they cared. Yes he’s still with us today and he gives me a Hug every morning when I get him up. I pick up my big boy and help him put his arms around me, while I carry him out of his room to get him ready for the day. It’s so wonderful to have that. Then 2 years ago my little girl joined in the huging and now hugs her older brother everyday, the cutest hugging I’ve ever witnessed.

It is amazing how much better a hug can make a crappy day. Two glasses of wine, and I forget which kid, did what to who, who left their school stuff in a heap by the door, who spilled their dinner, and which one of them left the milk out on the counter for the 100th time.

Hugs are great! We are in the middle of a big move. We moved 41/2 hours away from where we were living. We also had a furnished corporate apartment with the things that we need on a daily basis. I am all stressed because I have 2 days to get everything out of here. My son came over and gave me a big hug and it made me feel so much better! Sending hugs and smiles from AL from 2 MJC loving girls, one little fella, and me! Smiles are great too!
