There are so many things that I just love about Matilda Jane Clothing, but the one thing that touches me the most is the willingness of our community to give back and help those in need. In years past, the MJC family has come together to help those in need both within the company as well as in the community. We have also had an amazing response from all of you when we ask for your help. We thought we would give it another try!
As you know, the Matilda Jane family is continually growing as we add not only employees, but also pint size cuties such as little Miss Ira. Miss Ira is the daughter of Alicia Fackler who is apart of our Customer Care department. Recently, Ira was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, which is a type of cancer that is found in early developing nerve cells. As we all know, medical bills and other basic needs can add up quickly. Our first thought was…HOW CAN WE HELP??
To help this little princess and her family, the MJC team put our minds together and came up with a plan. We made t-shirts for Denise and Chelsa in the past, so we tapped Elyse, our senior graphic designer, to use her magic touch and create a beautiful shirt to help support our darling little Miss Ira.

Amazing, right!? We are in love! All proceeds of this shirt will benefit the Fackler family. What better way to support this little one and her family in their difficult time? Oh, and did I mention that this t-shirt is so so soft and such a cute fit?

Our family friends’ daughter was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age 4. It was a scary time, but she’s now 15 and doing amazingly. I will share this with their family. <3 and prayers to this family.
My daughter has a form of brain cancer as well. My prayers to this family, and I’ll wear this shirt proudly! Thank you MJ for supporting Baby Ira!
