I’m sitting here rubbing my head cuz I can’t think of a single thing to say. I loved that you were all so willing to help make this video clip and the outcome is more than I could have wished for. It totally takes me back to those family movies form when you were a kid. And that is a great place to be. Everything was easy, carefree, always on the go and never second guessing a thing. I love that place in my mind and when I can get back there, it just makes me smile. Gosh, I hope I am making sense. Today was a stressful day for no reason other than it was just one of those days. And seeing this video and all your little one totally turned my day around. Thank you.
And I loved all your comments yesterday. It’s nice to step back and remember what it was that made us who we are. Seriously, I know I may sound dumb, but when you grow this fast not only is it scary but sometimes you loose track of things. It is easy to loose track of the little things cuz you think people don’t notice anymore. But they do. And lately, I have been, well, we all have been, trying our hardest to get back to the place where we were at our best. Gosh, I am not saying, I am not 100% proud of Matilda Jane. I am. I just don’t want it to slip away and get so big that we don’t have time to write that note, do those special things or have time to ask you how your day is when you call. These were easy things when we were just six girls in Fairfield Manor….okay I am rambling. Off to make some cute stickers for holiday boxes!

Your clothes are sooo cute, I just discovered them about a week or so ago and have since bought my daughter a ton of your stuff. I love the Girly girl look, my little girl loves anything Girly!! So ruffles and dresses are exactly what she Lives in!!!

This video couldn’t have come at a better time! Today was my last (of five) baby’s first birthday and I felt kind of sad all day. It very much lifted my spirits to see her big sister as part of this very fun project! Thank you and thank you so much to Jami for your hard work and very personable communication; what a sweetheart.

Loved the video, cute song and fun to see so many different lines in the mix. I think there was even a Homegrown skirt and it reminded me of my first MJC purchase. The very first things I ever bought were the Ginger knot and the little diaper cover that matched. My daughter’s were 4 and 4 months, the Ginger knot was only available in a size 8 (sold out in other sizes at the time) and I just had to have it. That knot was soooo big on my little one but I tied the straps up as high as I could and put it on her anyway, it still fits her today….talk about money well spent
. The knot dress of the month back then was so fun!! Yes, Matilda Jane has grown exponetially since those days but in my opinion it has grown gracefully and gotten even better. I am consistently amazed with each new line. Thank you!!!
The video turned out great. Very disappointed that my little “peaceful” video didnt get used. Not sure why…I emailed a horizontal video after I mistakenly shot it vertically. I would’ve reshot if you wanted something different. Just bummed because it was a lot of work getting my 19m old to cooperate! I was really looking forward to seeing Belle with all the other cute MJC girls.

This is a cute little ditty that I could look at over and over. The clothes on the children are adorable. They link every child together and the vintage look of the clothes and the home made movie work together so well. Having a grand child in the video made it a tear jerker even though I see her over and over in picture after picture on a weekly basis. Nice piece of work. I am an art teacher. JW

I was so surprised when my daughter posted this video, and saw that our sweet 4 year old grand daughter was in it! We love the Matilda Jane clothing that she wears. It’s so refreshing to see little girls dressing like little girls, and not like sophisticated college students! The fabrics and hues are easy and breezy, perfect for play, or school or visiting Grandma! All the little girls in the We are Matilda Jane video are adorable, and we love the focus on character. Their inner beauty just glows!
