In all truth..before I get to the good stuff…I am wishing my finger would heal. Did I tell you I cut it pretty bad the night I before I left for China? Well, that was close to a month ago and I still cannot use it to even click a letter on the keyboard. And yes, that would be a great excuse to explain my poor typing. Can I blame my grammar on that too?
To continue on seeing my movie starts in 37 minutes…I think it is just about the right time to start spreading some love in a BIG way. And because I think I am fancy, David set up an email just to do so, [email protected]. (You know a friend said, well, kinda hinted I look unprofessional cuz I had a yahoo email account, is that bad? I really just am so used to it… but hey, Spread the Love is very professional…so we are good to go. And in case you wonder why I always put ….it’s cuz I am not quite sure if I should put a comma or a period. And no I am not blaming my finger on that.)
Okay back to the story…. (ha, dot dot dot again) There is nothing I love more than sending out surprise packages. I love it and would do it all day long if I could. Seriously, what is better than putting a smile on someone’s face? I’m totally smiling thinking about it. Now your job is to shoot us an email with who you think we should surprise with a nice MJC package. It could be a teacher, a friend, your mom or pretty much anyone that you want to put a smile on their face. We will need a complete address and sizes to be considered. Please note due to the volume of requests we get we will not be able to reply to all of them therefore you MUST include the above information to be considered. We’ll keep this running for as long as we can get it to them in time for the holidays. And if you saw my Pink Tree, I am so dying to send a little girl a tree with little presents. So cute and she would totally be in love! I can see it now..and I am in love with what I see.
Oh, and I should show you something that you may love….and try not to notice the pics..Sam does flats and they always look great. Me? Not so much..and that is why I have the yahoo email!

What generous, generous folks you are! I love that you do this because it feels right to you, not because of the PR benefits. (I work in that general world and have seen companies plan their donations around the attention it will get THEM far too many times.)
But I wanted to say you really hit a chord with the email thing. I have a small business (three people small) that I intentionally run with not a lot of fancy structure, just good people doing good work. But I had a client make the unprofessional hint because my graphic designer often uses his personal email address. Oh, it hit me so hard! It must have been some deep down inferiority complex rearing it’s ugly head.
So I went straight to the folks who host my email and bought 25 more addresses for an insanely cheap price. Turns out it’s really easy to sync with your existing emails too, so everyone doesn’t have to abandon their old email address. Ah, the things we do to make ourselves feel better!
This family definatly deserves something nice. They have a daughter 8 yrs old size 10 girls. Father works full time and goes to school at night. They have 2 boys and mom is pregnant. They are to proud to ask for anything BUT I know the little girl would be overjoyed with new clothes. She is always so excited for the smallest things and never gets anything new. I am sure that this family would really appreciate the help as the dad tends to be furlow a lot

I would like to nominate someone for the little pink tree or anything you would care to share with her. She is my grandbaby girl, and she is sweet beyond measure. She is beautiful and suffers not from disease nor infirmity, but from discrimination. Because we live in very small rural NC town and she and her brother are biracial, she is looked down upon by some in my own church. As her grandmama, I want to scream at those people, “Don’t you see her beauty and grace? Notice how carefully she turned the page of a book and says “please and thank you” without being told. Can’t you see how her eyes sparkle with love for every living thing she encounters?” She is an exquisite little tan porcelain doll, and I could not have dreamt a more special child to proudly call “granddaughter”. Her brother is special as well, but the pink tree would appeal to every girly fancy in Lexie’s little head. Thanks! Gale
