Who doesn't love a compliment?

It makes your day, all day. That is what I want Matilda Jane Clothing
to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she
is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want Matilda Jane to
showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes
simple for that reason, it’s not about the fancy embroidery, it is
about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight
with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her
to be happy! And that is it.

Friends

I got about 20 things scrolling through my mind and one of them is blogging. I am sorry I am so behind. No clue, no excuse just always too tired at the end of the day. Once the season begins things tend to get a tad crazy for a while. I really want to tell you the back story of the photo shoot. The moms and the girls were all so wonderful. I was just going through some of their stories of the shoot that I think you may enjoy. I love that we have so many “real, genuine” friends withing Matilda Jane. I love them all.

There are so many families to tell you about. Dana did a great job here and Jami here and Sandi here and Kelly here.  I loved reading each of these post. They really tell the story of what we are about, who we are, and why we do what we do. Yes, we make children;s clothing but we also, and so important to me, we help make friendships happen. It is a beautiful thing.

This summer I was lucky enough to make a great new friend. Yup, I call her Number Six. Simple story is I was telling her I really don’t have a lot of friends cuz I just don’t have a lot of time to nurture them along. Well, sweet Val says, “Damn it, I will be your #6 friend sooner or later, I require no activities or communication.”  Yup that is my kind a girl, and now there is number 6.  As many of you know, my #6′s life has been turned upside down.  And being the unpredictable company we are, we need to so something to help her make her future a little more predictable. So I ask that you stay tuned for details to come. We’ll certainly need some help on this one.
