Who doesn't love a compliment?

It makes your day, all day. That is what I want Matilda Jane Clothing
to do, make the girl smile from ear to ear. I want her to love what she
is wearing and be proud of how she looks. I want Matilda Jane to
showcase the sweetness of the child. I try to keep the silhouettes
simple for that reason, it’s not about the fancy embroidery, it is
about the darling girl wearing it. I want your little girl not to fight
with you on what to wear, I want her to be comfortable and I want her
to be happy! And that is it.

It’s Snowing

What is better than waking up to snowflakes on the first day of December…my gosh! Oh, I love this season. Thanks you all so much for sharing so many great stories.  We are about 1/2 through and will start sending packages Monday. Please know that you will  not be contacted nor will your nomination. It will just arrive. Yup, secretly arrive. No warning, no clue, just a great package.

I really need to say what I love the most about all the entries (an it is not too late to enter someone (see below)) is you. Yes, the stories are wonderful, heartbreaking and some completely tear jerking (is that the right word). But my favorite part in reading them is hearing you tell it. I love what you see in people that many don’t. I love that many of you submitted  people who just need a pick me up for no other reason than you have not seen them smile in a while. I guess I just love the “Love” you feel when reading them. And thank you for sharing all this with us!!!

December 1, 2010 - 10:56 am Holly's Mama - Lucky! It never snows in L.A.!

December 1, 2010 - 10:31 am Cpuhl - Denise, it's been said time and time again...you are just an AMAZING person! The fact that you keep coming up with new ways to give back is incredible, and it's so special that you let us in on it too. You make such an impact on our lives, you really are an inspiration. I'm so glad that I found MJC, I love supporting such a wonderful group of people. I'm sure we will have lots of goosebumps in the upcoming weeks...thanks in advance!

December 1, 2010 - 8:43 am emily bradshaw - Sometimes I miss the snow! I bet you have read some really good ones thus far. Such a kind spirited thing to do all the way around! Have a great day and throw a snowball for me!

December 1, 2010 - 7:40 am Jamie Hicks - I'm actually a little envious on you getting to read those, I'm sure it is putting such love in your heart and a smile on your face at the care each person is putting in their nominations. I love that feeling, that there are still good people out there, and the reminder of the strength some people have in going through what seems to be the impossible! hugs!

December 1, 2010 - 7:30 am Lynne Hahn - Love the snow! Love how excited my little one was on the way to the bus stop today when she saw the snow! Love that she had on the Felicia Knot and Sparkletown tee that seemed just right for the first day of snow! Love that my platinum order with the Winter Green Flutter Dress is suppose to be delivered today! Life couldn't be better.

December 1, 2010 - 6:54 am Isabella's Mom - I'm like a child the first day of snow, up early, watching the flakes fall. My children were happy to get up (except for that little inciden with Isabella) to the big white flakes falling and the first day of Advent. Except for Driver's Training classes today on 196 (they had to close it due to a big accident), I am a happy lady too.
